Gavlaan rates this game: 5/5Well what can I say. It's a pretty fun game, what with keeping stealth levels and escort missions at a minimum - although the escort missions that do exists are quite infuriating. I don't know, the enemy AI is OK even in lower difficulties, but it just falls short when there's someone to follow you, the game kinda forgets what it's doing.
As for the actual gameplay, it's pretty solid. There's a target lock-on function that, for the most part, serves its purpose very well and more often than not, targets things you probably would want to be firing at. Sometimes though, it decides to abruptly disengage. I always have that on, because I'm using a gamepad and really, I haven't ever touched a gamepad at all. I'm not entirely sure that binding mouse-swipes to analog movements on Project64 would be much better though.
The guns feel... well they feel like guns. They've got a satisfying amount of "oomph" behind them each time you fire one (barring the stock pistol) that really helps convey the feeling you're using an actual killing machine and not a peashooter. There's also a nice variety to select from, and they're pretty balanced too (SMGs do less damage than rifles but fire faster, the "Magnums" can kill any enemy in one shot but fall off quickly and so on). Although on most cases, there's one particular gun that everyone uses in a level, and it sort of makes sense to use whatever gun most enemies have anyway.
What really bothers me though - more so when levels are directly connected as locations like when from a certain mansion you hitch a ride to an airport - is that it's impossible to keep whatever weapons you've collected from the previous level, forcing you to scavenge all over again.
All in all though, it's a pretty solid game. I'd give it a 4.5/5 but apparently I can't. So 5/5 it is, since I don't think its flaws (or escort missions) detract much from enjoying the game.
darkPL rates this game: 5/5Game is really familiar to the 007 - Goldeneye so i will be quick this time. The World Is Not Enought is a great game. It has everything that good game should have: good graphics, good sounds, nice looking weapons, great AI level and awesome gameplay. I suggest You to play both of the 007 titles beacause mixing story lines could give you much fun :) My Personal Opinion for this game is 5/5
